    Are you someone who has a proven track record creating content that resonates with a range of audiences and drives business results? iCIMS is looking to add a strategic, creative, and passionate Content Creator to our Marketing team. This role will be responsible for crafting a wide variety of compelling content for different persona audiences. The ideal candidate is an effective writer, creative and powerful storyteller, sharp editor, and someone who works independently, but is also great at collaborating with business partners across the organization. 


    The Content Creator will develop and create content showcasing thought leadership, product value, and partnerships, for channels including digital, social, and sales enablement. The Content Creator will partner with executives and peers across the organization to collaborate on and validate storyline ideas and messaging. Excellent writing, spelling, and understanding of grammar are essential to the role as is being familiar and friendly with SEO copywriting.

    • Creating concise, eye-catching, and innovative headlines and body copy that compels our audience to engage with iCIMS
    • Interviewing executive-level sources to bring forward the most compelling story
    • Consistently brainstorming and collaborating interdepartmentally to understand business needs for new ideas and strategies to support goals
    • Writing a wide variety of topics for multiple platforms (website, blogs, articles, social updates, banners, case studies, guides, research reports, PowerPoints, sales docs, white papers, etc.)
    • Regularly researching markets to compare and create thought leadership content that’s innovative and original
    • Collaborating with designers and web developers to bring forward the most creative content solutions that support business strategies
    • Researching and organizing facts and sourcing
    • Helping to build a world-class content marketing practice including coaching and mentoring other content creators




    • 8+ years of experience writing within a creative agency, corporate marketing team, or equivalentAbility to frequently change writing styles as needed (PR, advertising, promotional, sales tools, ghostwriting, website copy, etc.)Advanced communication skills – interviewing, listening, validating, researching story points, editing, incorporating feedback, understanding tone, and style
    • Proven success in writing executive-level thought leadership pieces including collaboration with senior leaders
    • Creative and innovative thinker, planner, and problem-solver
    • Ability to align multiple brand strategies and ideas into executions
    • Interdepartmental collaboration skills a must
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
    • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
    • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Slack, Sharepoint, etc.
    • Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to self-motivate, direct, and execute a must
    • Bachelor’s degree in creative writing, journalism, English, or related field a plus
    • Experience writing on behalf of tech companies and/or SaaS a huge plus
