    Responsibilities:

    • Understand marketing processes and align technology solutions to optimize those processes across the business.
    • Own and manage technical aspects of key marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads, opportunities, deals and account engagement.
    • Lead collaboration with cross functional teams to develop operations processes, lead flows, and technical solutions to ensure end-to-end lead management (lead to Revenue) visibility and reporting
    • In partnership with Marketing Operations Program Managers, create relevant training and documentation for marketing, sales, and lead qualification / business development reps on existing and new technologies, processes and best practices.
    • Define a holistic marketing database management strategy that supports data unification and access across our internal systems, ensures data quality, and enforces governance and measurement
    • Identify gaps in capabilities and opportunities for innovation and improvement by leading discussions with internal partners and stakeholders across marketing, and effectively translate business requirements into technical requirements
    • Own the MarTech stack strategy and roadmap, lead technology evaluation, selection and implementation
    • Ensure all marketing technology products and automation processes meet security and legal requirements
    • Lead best in class marketing automation strategies, overlay programs to our customer journey to ensure automated support where needed; Consult on usage of marketing technologies to create buyer experiences that drive the business
    • Collaborate with the product, content, and demand generation teams to optimize systems and create processes that will help drive strategies and solutions for improving campaign performance
    • Lead marketing automation staff on creation of strategic segmentation for various marketing campaigns
    • Guide the team on best practices for lead nurturing and lead scoring
    • Ability to work independently, exceptional communication, interpersonal, team building, and support skills, demonstrate resourcefulness, motivation and initiative
    • Plan short-term and long-term infrastructure needs with business leaders, in conjunction with revenue projections; Suggest process improvements and automation opportunities to scale our growing business.
    • Oversee the hygiene, functionality and integrity of lead intake forms across the organization
    • Consult with Sales, sales operations, marketing, and business teams on campaign effectiveness and oversee campaign development and execution
    • Partner with business leaders to review and adjust the lead assignment logic based on business requirements. Partner with Marketing Analytics team to monitor all lead assignments and ensure that all qualified leads are getting the appropriate follow-up. Perform root-cause analysis to uncover issues that impact lead assignment and drive resolution.
    • Triage ad hoc systems and data issues with high urgency
    • Reporting & Analytics; Develop and maintain dashboards to track key success metrics for the team and report up to leadership on results.
    • Maintain a high-performance team and work environment enabling operational objectives and acquisition/retention of talent to fulfill team mission successfully and cost-effectively.
    • Lead and mentor both direct and indirect reports with the goal of improving their professional expertise to better serve business initiatives.
    • Manage team members’ performance including formal reviews.
    • Structure appropriate training and development to eliminate roadblocks to team performance to execute the strategic direction of the department and motivate the team to deliver consistent results.

    Qualifications:

    • 8+ years of marketing operations or related experience in a B2B high-growth environment, with a minimum of 5 years managing teams of 3+.
    • A minimum 6 years of progressive experience operating marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Pardot preferred, Marketo ) and leading marketing technology implementations (Engagio, Mintigo, Attribution Software, Content Management Solutions) which resulted in measurable business performance improvements.
    • Multichannel Marketing automation experience, vendor procurement, negotiation and management, execution and support of CRM campaigns with deep understanding of best practices
    • Ability to identify and action opportunities to maximize demand creation, pipeline contribution, and sales opportunity acceleration.
    • Extensive background in data management and health strategies inclusive of database unification, compliance, governance, quality, and measurement.
    • Well-developed analytical skills, ability to provide clarity to complex issues and synthesize large amounts of information insights on key methodologies and approaches •
    • Ability to communicate advanced technical concepts to non-technical audiences, navigate ambiguity, and manage competing priorities.
    • Strong operational mind, strong project management; strong data evaluation skills with ability to extract and interpret data
    • Proven ability to build compelling business cases in order to win internal support and leadership support for initiatives
    • Ability to collaborate; effectively working across multiple levels, roles, and functions in the organization
    • Expert knowledge of Marketing automation best practices, including email marketing strategies
    • Experience managing, mentoring, and recruiting marketing automation talent.
    • Obsessed with setting the team up for success through active listening, clear communication, and a personalized approach to development.
