    Are you an experienced UX researcher who’s built out, and executed on, comprehensive research plans? We’re looking for an analytical, detail-oriented self-starter with visual and user-centered design experience to join our team as a UX Researcher III, where you’ll work alongside UX Architects, Designers, and product managers to conduct both product and project-based research. You’ll enable our internal teams to build better products, creating personas and user journeys and conducting upfront research, as well as running usability testing and educating the company on our audiences. You’ll disseminate content and provide guidelines for research, as well as mentor junior research associates, educate cross-functional teams and champion best practices.     • Define research objectives, plan and execute research projects. Distill project goals and research questions into well thought-out research plans. Offer innovative approaches to research when resources or time is limited. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize research questions based on analysis of current knowledge, project goals and risks
    • Identify best method or mix of methods based on research questions, timeline and resourcing. Recommend research protocols and develop qualitative and quantitative analysis; leverage web analytics and recommend new metrics when appropriate to improve understanding of web usability effectiveness.
    • Manage all related logistics to successfully execute on lab-based user testing, remote testing, paper prototype testing, iterative prototype testing, concept testing, field research, international research, and survey design. Assist in the development of prototypes when necessary.
    • Translate findings into design recommendations and actions plans to quickly improve web solutions. Strategize with the UX team and business stakeholders on how to take action on research findings. Assist in documenting usability requirements learned through research and testing
    • When necessary assist with generative research methods including: expert/stakeholder interviews, field studies, contextual inquiry, focus groups, online surveys and other generative research methods. Also assist in the identification of user needs and goals, as well as scenarios, task and workflow modeling
    • Perform thorough data analysis in an efficient manner in order to create insightful and actionable findings presentations (both verbal and written) within project timeframes
    • Promote user-centered design and help establish robust research and design processes.
    • Consistently ensures that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with iCIMS policies, procedures, and core competencies


    • 5 + years of overall software/UX research experience, preferably in business-facing Saas Applications
    • A proven track record in creating software UX and conducting research and usability testing of digital innovations and services. Experience in applying a range of research methods, tools and processes and know the ins and outs of each.
    • Track record of user experience achievements with demonstrated excellence
    • Hands-on experience with lab-based user testing, iterative prototype testing, concept testing, survey design, and usage of multiple methods within a study.
    • Demonstrated experience creating new test methods/setups to address the needs of unusual/challenging tests
    • A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables (e.g: study plans, reports)
    • Visual and User-centered Design experience is a plus
    • Innovative - self-motivated, able to research new concepts independently
    • Persuasive – able to convince stakeholders of UX value and find win-win solutions
    • Experience with designing and developing Responsive / Mobile solutions.
    • Knowledge of appropriate design tools
    • Agile, Lean, Kanban, Iterative software development and delivery experience preferred

    Education/Certifications/Licenses Required

    • Bachelor’s degree Human Computer Interaction, Information Science, Computer Science or related field
