    The Sales Enablement Manager is responsible for driving the development and execution of the sales enablement strategy in conjunction with the overall go-to-market strategy and business imperatives for iCIMS. This individual will be responsible for implementing the sales enablement strategy, selecting tools, training and developing processes to deliver on that strategy - ultimately supporting and increasing the effectiveness of our sales organization. The Sales Enablement Manager is responsible for leading the Sales Enablement initiatives for the iCIMS sales organization to increase the sales productivity. This individual should help improve revenue performance at the individual rep, team, segment and company level through content and training. This role will play an integral part in developing, evaluating and improving our go-to-market enablement plan in-order-to drive all sales efforts.

    Responsibilities

    • Map sales process with customer’s buying process to understand and enhance what skills, knowledge, process and tools are required by our sales force to increase velocity and conversion rates at each stage in those processes.
    • Conduct an analysis of current skills, processes, and knowledge and work with the sales leadership team to identify strengths and areas for development.
    • Create and update sales playbooks based on seller feedback and shifting market demands.
    • Evaluate current sales technology tools and make recommendations on new tools.
    • Develop programs to decrease new rep ramp time and increase productivity for new employees
    • Create and manage sales certification programs as requested by sales leadership
    • Partner with Marketing & Product teams to ensure the creation of sales enablement materials and curriculum that support the sales force in their revenue generating efforts.
    • Ensure that the materials developed are utilized effectively to drive efficiencies across sales stages.
    • Partner with Sales Leadership to identify knowledge and skills gaps across the company and conduct ongoing needs assessments.
    • Develop an in-depth understanding of each department’s strategy, objectives and goals and tie them to the broader business.
    • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
    • Consistently ensure that business is conducted with integrity always, policies and processes are observed, and that behavior aligns with iCIMS’ core competencies.

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of 8 years experience in a sales enablement, sales operations, or sales training role.
    • Demonstrated experience creating, developing, delivering and maintaining sales enablement curriculum, training, and delivery with measurable return on investment.
    • A strong understanding of Sales life cycle and the impact of effective sales enablement on those life-cycles.
    • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills. The ability to look ahead and proactively identify issues and implement a mitigation plan to address.
    • Ability to take complex concepts and skills into small, manageable “chunks”
    • High sense of urgency and visionary work ethic required to drive business outcomes
    • An entrepreneurial-spirit and desire to help build a new function from the ground up.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Articulates thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
    • Ability to effectively overcome customer concerns and create a win-win outcome.
    • Exceptional time and project management skills. Ability to manage workload while understanding return on time investment.
    • Able to communicate with and influence multiples layers of organizations, including Senior Leadership
    • High degree of comfort managing multiple, competing priorities in ambiguous environments.
    • Computer literate; proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). 
    • Ability to work effectively within a fast paced, changing environment that is going through high growth. 
    • A self-starter with the demonstrated ability to take initiative, who can proactively identify issues/opportunities and recommend actions. 
    • Strong results orientation with a proven track record of flawless execution and strong attention to detail. 
    • Demonstrated flexibility, resilience and creativity when solving for complex issues.
    • Ability to travel up to 10% and work flexible hours when needed.
    • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience

     

    Preferred

     

    • Experience as a quota carrying sales rep
    • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM
    • Familiarity with SalesLoft
    • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
