    Are you an expert in Agile and SAFe? Do you have people management experience? We’re looking for an expert influencer and motivating mentor to join our team as a Manager, Agile Engineering, where you’ll oversee a team responsible for driving programs and initiatives across the iCIMS Technology organization, while also acting as subject matter experts in Agile methodology. In this role, you’ll manage a team of Agile Coaches and project managers to provide direction on best practices around coaching and SAFe, and mentoring them on how to provide program management in a growing organization. You’ll drive continuous improvement of the department’s usage of Jira project management software and our approach to Agile processes and methodologies.     People Management Responsibilities
    o Staffing: Partners with Talent team on the acquisition and retention of people resources to fulfill team mission successfully; owns the selection process
    o Engagement: Ensures a fun, dynamic work environment & build merit-based culture which appeals to the top talent in the field
    o Performance Management: drives a highly engaged, high performance work environment through PM processes
    o Situational Leadership: Leads and coaches the team structuring appropriate training and development and eliminating road blocks to team performance

    Process and Metrics:
    o Focus on creating sustainable efficiencies and productivity across the team.
    o Identify gaps in processes and/or services and recommends changes
    o Ensure adherence to established processes by team
    o Create, update, revise departmental SOPS with Director level approval
    o Communicate & resolve on gaps/issues within team/department
    o Create & manage escalation procedures and ensures service & productivity levels are maintained by the department

    Ensure Team Execution in line with Departmental Strategy
    o Partner with cross functional stakeholders to drive new initiatives and programs
    o Act as the “Agile Expert” for the Technology organization and own the Community of Practice
    o Educate employees at all levels, including senior, on Agile principles, providing them with tools for implementing the process in their own work that lead toward the organization-wide adoption of Agile
    o Guide Manager colleagues and their teams to further adopt the Agile methodology, providing employees with feedback and means of improvement, fostering organizational growth and answering questions, leading teams toward further understanding and adoption of Agile as well as overall company growth and improvement. Implement Agile processes, principles and practices across all levels and departments in an organization. Use techniques that increase collaboration, predictability, transparency and promote a culture of experimentation and innovation.
    o Focus on creating sustainable efficiencies and productivity across the team
    o Identify gaps in processes and/or services and recommends changes
    o Create, update and revise Release Management playbooks
    o Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required
    o Establish and maintain relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor and measure the operation of the department.
    o Ensures process documents are complete, current, communicated and stored appropriately
    o Customer-focused approach by keeping existing customers happy to drive high renewal rates
    o Consistently ensures that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with iCIMS policies, procedures, and core competencies



    o Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management, supervisory, or lead position.
    o Advanced knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
    o A proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects using Agile methodologies
    o Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects. PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent preferred
    o Experience with SAFe methodology preferred
    o Prior experience performing administration, configuration and support of JIRA and other tools; extensive expertise in Jira strongly preferred
    o Global SaaS support experience required
    o Ability to think outside the box and develop solutions that may not be immediately obvious
    o Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously
    o Demonstrable knowledge of software development lifecycles and activities.
    o A strong understanding of software Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
    o A clear ability to manage a range of different personality types in a facilitative and mature manner
    o Proven success in leading high performance teams, achieving results through others, and being a strong team player
    o Ability to organize and manage multiple, and at times competing priorities
    o Excellent product and process knowledge
    o Strong customer orientation focus and success in creating a superior Customer Experience
    o Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with the Executive Team, management peers, and internal and external customers
    o Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional partners and upper management to impact decision making.
    o Strong results orientation with a proven track record of execution and strong attention to detail.
    o Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems or resolve issues in a timely manner


    Education/Certifications/Licenses Required
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or other technical degree, or relevant experience
    • Scrum Master certification (required)
    • Agile or Scrum Coach certification (preferred)
