    Responsibilities

    • Acts as an advocate for the Talent Acquisition market and internal stakeholders as it relates to market opportunities and portfolio initiatives
    • Defines the product backlog for the assigned product(s) and presents business justification for prioritization of backlog items
    • Align product backlog to the goals of the portfolio, outlined by the Portfolio Director
    • Consult with Portfolio Director and contribute to pricing, positioning, business plans and go-to-market strategies
    • Liaise with engineering and clearly validate market problems and opportunities for the assigned product
    • Performs a variety of tasks including but not limited to conducting competitive analysis, defining positioning statements, market requirements, product or module KPIs, expected time to market and minimum viable product
    • Directly supports sales through direct and indirect channels inclusive of on-site visits
    • A degree of creativity and latitude is expected
    • Liaises with Product Marketing to ensure product positioning is effectively communicated
    • Consistently ensures that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with iCIMS policies, procedures, and core competencies
    • Conduct market research through interactions with customers and prospects

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of Product Management experience
    • Ability to manage several concurrent project assignments with a wide range of complexity in various domains
    • Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously and pragmatically
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Creative problem solving, business judgment and financial acumen are required
    • Strong knowledge and experience of product roadmap planning
    • Relationship building skills and the ability to plan and influence across all departments in the organization
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey thoughts and ideas across all levels of the organization
    • Strong research capability with an interest in the competitive landscape
    • Pragmatic marketing certification a plus

     

    Education/Certifications/Licenses Required

    • BA/BS or equivalent in related field
