In this role, you’ll assist with job evaluation and salary range recommendations, incentive/SPIF plan design and administration, and partner with talent development and corporate communications to educate employees on compensation and benefit programs, among other responsibilities.     Responsibilities

    • Assist with planning, developing, evaluating, improving, and communicating methods and techniques for administering company compensation and benefit programs and training managers/employees.
    • Survey participation & analysis
    • Job evaluation & salary range recommendations
    • Incentive/SPIF plan design & administration including calculating & processing sales incentives and/or commissions & SPIFS
    • Compensation guidance/issue resolution for management & talent acquisition.
    • Oversee the preparation and distributing communication materials and plan documents
    • Assist with the compensation increase processes and analysis. Partnering closely with HR team and finance and ensures adherence to guidelines and budgets
    • Partners closely with management to understand business operations, challenges, and competitive market issues in regards to employee compensation and benefits in recruitment and retention
    • Collaborates with talent development and corporate communications to design communication strategies to educate employees on compensation and benefit programs
    • Stay abreast of state and federal employment and benefit regulations and ensure programs comply with legal requirements
    • Supports the HR team in special projects and/or assignments
    • Trains and consults managers and talent team on benefit and compensation
    • Processes benefit transactions for new hires, terminations, qualifying events and open enrollment into HR systems and vendor portals as required.
    • Oversee maintenance of employee benefits files
    • Act as a point of contact for employee claim resolution and/or benefit questions and responds to benefits related support tickets to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution
    • Acts as a point of contact for external vendors
    • Conduct assigned compliance processes, activities, testing and related filings such as 5500 for health plans and 401k Plans and ACA
    • Ensure benefits system is configured, maintained and operating effectively and efficiently
    • Presents compensation and benefits program overviews and updates to employees and leadership
    • Assists with open enrollment processing and implementation
    • Assists with processing FMLA/other leave administration and State disability program, documentation, communications
    • Conduct research, analyze potential compensation and benefit changes and provide recommendation to management
    • Updating and creating compensation and benefit policy and procedures
    • Review and prepare employee communication materials while also providing input into employee communication strategy
    • Updates compensation and benefits information and content within iCIMS portal/sharepoint as well as within vendor systems
    • Reconciles benefits invoices monthly, interacts with insurance carriers, HR system(s), and broker to resolve issues as required relating to claims and or bills
    • Maintains an appropriate level of knowledge regarding ERISA, federal, state, and local benefits laws and regulations in order to ensure compliance of benefits programs and timely filing of financial reports and forms and ensure ACA compliance.
    • Ensures process and plan documents are complete, current, communicated and stored appropriately
    • Consistently ensures that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with iCIMS policies, procedures, and core competencies

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 years of benefits, compensation or related experience
    • Previous experience working for a software or technology company a plus
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Articulates thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively
    • Ability to work effectively within a fast paced, changing environment that is going through high growth
    • A self-starter with the demonstrated ability to take initiative, who can proactively identify issues/opportunities and recommend actions
    • Strong results orientation with a proven track record of flawless execution and strong attention to detail
    • Demonstrated customer service orientation
    • Strategic analysis/creative problem solving, business judgment and financial acumen are required
    • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional partners and upper management to impact decision-making

     Education/Certifications/Licenses Required

    • BA/BS preferred or relevant work experience
