    Responsibilities

    Strategy

    • Collaborate with VP to establish vision, planning & prioritization for the Cloud Services team resources aligned to overall Infrastructure Shared Services goals.
    • Collaborate with executives across the business to build buy-in and engagement around the established direction and objectives of Cloud Services & Infrastructure Shared Services team overall.
    • Builds and manages relationships with senior leaders throughout the organization; creates cross-functional teams optimized for successful business execution.

    Team Leadership

    • Provide leadership to ensure that envisaged objectives are met while also ensuring that there is the requisite sponsorship, alignment and support of all stakeholders connected with the organization.
    • Maintains a high-performance team and work environment enabling operational objectives and acquisition/retention of people resources to fulfill team mission successfully.
    • Lead and mentor both direct and indirect reports with the goal of improving their professional expertise to better serve business initiatives.
    • Manage team members’ performance including formal reviews, establishing departmental and individual objectives and performing applicable assessments.
    • Ensure that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with iCIMS policies, procedures, and core competencies.

     

    Practice

    • Defines best practice process and sets performance standards to meet service goals of the team in support of company objectives.
    • Design strategy within core functions to support the Company’s vision. Leads strategic technology planning to achieve business goals by prioritizing technology initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment and management of current and future technologies.
    • Drive execution and technology adoption initiatives, evaluating, and redefining technology architecture, evaluating current operating technology systems to map to business needs, and ensuring effective execution of IT strategy while maintaining the highest level of efficiency, and promoting speed, quality and low-cost operations.Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing policies and processes require change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion.
    • Lead initiatives to maintain and operate a 24/7/365 high-performance, highly available infrastructure.
    • Manage the quality, consistency, accuracy, completeness, and testing of infrastructure engineering related processes and documentation, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity plans.
    • Monitors programs, procedures and metrics to ensure on-time delivery and overall customer satisfaction.
    • Understand industry best practices and apply to processes, presenting recommendations as necessary for the company to remain compliant and competitive in our Infrastructure needs.

    Systems

    • Maintain a high availability infrastructure environment ensuring business continuity, system availability, security, customer and company data integrity, application performance, and hardware standards.
    • Ensures and is accountable for continuous strategic and operational alignment between all critical business systems and their user communities.
    • Builds and executes system roadmaps to support corporate strategy and goals endorsed by stakeholders.

    Metrics

    • Establish and maintain a budget staying within spending parameters.
    • Establishes and maintains relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor the operation of the department including reporting on performance metrics and results to the Executive Team.
    • Define, analyze and implement KPIs that inform the success of the cloud services team strategies.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in managing enterprise applications operations, including best practices for systems integrations, data integrity, enterprise architecture and system implementations.
    • Five plus years of experience in leading people managers.
    • Strong customer commitment and demonstrated experience establishing a “Customer Experience” culture in support of all the business functions of a fast-paced company.
    • Ability to collaborate across departments and influence senior leaders where appropriate.
    • Experience guiding high performing teams with demonstrated ability to evaluate and develop talent.
    • Excellent communication (written and verbal), with the proven ability to effectively translate complex ideas and tailor key messages to multiple audiences.
    • Ability to drive and manage systems/best practice change agenda as required.
    • Understanding of global network design including public and private cloud technologies.
    • Information Security, data protection technologies, auditing and reporting experience.
    • Experience working within a SaaS environment preferred; prior experience with managing enterprise SaaS systems like SFDC, Netsuite and Microsoft O365desirable.
    • Strong results orientation with a proven track record of flawless execution and strong attention to detail.

    Education/Certifications/Licenses Required

    BS in Computer Science or closely related degree or equivalent practical experience.
