We’re seeking an outgoing, highly creative self-starter with a background in public relations or communications to join our team as a Social Media Associate II, where you’ll own our corporate social media channels and help promote our brand to business leaders, prospects, customers, industry influencers, and prospective job candidates. As a Social Media Associate II, you’ll be responsible for maintaining our full social media calendar, in addition to reacting to and posting about real-time updates. You’ll monitor reactions and engage with others on their social media platforms, as well as perform quarterly audits of our own platforms to make sure we’re utilizing updated content and assets. We’re looking for someone who loves taking the initiative—someone who’s on the cutting edge of best practices who can bring fresh ideas for how to engage key audiences.     • Collaborate with colleagues and key stakeholders within the organization to create content for the company social channels.
    • Create and drive campaigns on social media.
    • Draft content and create a calendar for posts on all social networks.
    • Work closely with lead generation teams to create a content calendar and avoid overlap in posting content with paid campaigns.
    • Monitor competitor sites.
    • Pull social media monitoring reports on a monthly and quarterly basis.
    • Analyze social media reports and propose ideas for change.
    • Assist in meeting social media team goals.
    • Develop plans to target C-suite audience via social media.
    • Drive an increase in engagement and following from key industry influencers, media, and analysts.
    • Promote existing enterprise customer base across all channels and encourage clients to share posts from their personal and corporate accounts to further penetrate their networks.
    • Provide new thoughts and ideas that will increase engagement, followers, and overall reach on social media.
    • Proactively identify photo opportunities that display iCIMS’ corporate culture and support our brand, take photos as needed.
    • Collaborate with design team on creative design for banners, videos, and photography and develop a plan to promote these assets.
    • Own social selling program and educate members on best practices.
    • Dedicate time on each social site to interact with followers, create a deeper level of engagement on social media sites, and flag any concerning posts to management team.
    • Research strategies, continuously educate yourself within your function and propose plans for social media.
    • Assist in high priority requests from executives and short turn around projects.
    • Handle high volume workload and tight deadline assignments.
    • Consistently adhere to iCIMS core competencies, policies and procedures.


    • Undergraduate degree from a 4-year university ideally with a focus in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English or a related communications discipline desired.
    • Strong project management and presentation skills.
    • Demonstrate strong, consistent results and expert knowledge of social media processes.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media in a corporate setting.
    • Deadline driven and attention to detail.
    • Ability to produce consistently in a tight deadline environment.
    • Ability to drive results on tight deadlines.
    • Microsoft Office proficiency required. Experience with social media monitoring and posting tools such as Meltwater, Buffer, and Sprout a plus.
    • Creative self-starter with expert communication skills who can work both collaboratively and independently with partners at all levels.
    • Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in crafting messaging for multiple audiences and channels.
    • Requires exceptional organization and decision-making skills while taking an entrepreneurial approach.
    • Proven track record in developing and executing content for a variety of social channels, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
    • Requires the ability to report on results.
    • Experience with paid social promotions on LinkedIn and Twitter.
    • Comfortable working in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously and quickly adjust priorities as needed.
