Do you have a penchant for planning events?  We’re seeking a passionate people person and enthusiastic collaborator to join our Events Management team as an Events Associate I, where you’ll serve as the primary point person for logistical event tasks and manage all aspects of planning internal and external events, meetings and corporate responsibility initiatives for the organization. In this role, you’ll be responsible for organizing and executing one-of-a-kind events that drive business results and promote employee engagement, environmentalism and holistic wellness. You’ll handle contract negotiations and coordinate all amenities and accommodations, in addition to monitoring spend, managing swag distribution, and reporting on event metrics.     Responsibilities

    • Management of iCIMS’-hosted events, third party trade shows and networking executive dinners from initial planning phase to execution and reporting.
    • Planning & execution of internal iCIMS events such as company picnics, milestone celebrations and holiday parties.
    • Planning & execution of event logistics including venue selection, invite campaigns, travel coordination, shipping, onsite execution, budgeting and post-event lead reporting.
    • Ability to act as onsite contact at Events – showcasing high-energy, passionate, and professional behavior at all times with the ability to quickly & efficiently solve challenges.
    • Explore and identify new strategies to implement based on competitive analysis.
    • Assist with content creation for internal and external event collateral including agendas, signage, email communications, etc. 
    • Align with and partners with departments across the organization to plan and execute events.
    • Create and monitors event project plans and ensure deadlines are met.
    • Consistently ensure that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with iCIMS’ core competencies, policies and procedures.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
    • A minimum of 1 year of experience within marketing or Event Planning. 
    • Previous project and budget management experience
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work seamlessly in a team oriented environment.
    • Proven track record of developing and executing successful events.
    • A self-starter with ability to show resilience under pressure.
    • Demonstrated flexibility, creativity and problem solving skills.
    • Strong results orientation with a proven track record of flawless execution and strong attention to detail.
    • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency preferred.
    • Comfortable working in a demanding, fast-paced changing environment that is going through high growth.
    • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and can easily switch gears to manage multiple project types.
    • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
