    Have you developed core messaging and positioning for SaaS products? Do you have the skills and experience it takes to gracefully connect the value propositions of two closely related solutions into meaningful joint positioning materials that effectively address the business challenges of certain buying personas?  We’re seeking a highly organized expert communicator and skilled multitasker to join our Planning & Product Marketing Team as a Product Marketing Manager, TextRecruit (iCIMS Customer GTM).  In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and managing go-to-market activities related to the core messaging, positioning and competitive differentiation of our joint solution set: iCIMS + TextRecruit. 

     

    TextRecruit, an iCIMS subsidiary, is a candidate and employee engagement platform that leverages text message, live online chat and artificial intelligence to optimize the hiring funnel and help companies hire better people, faster. In this position, you’ll work cross-functionally with other areas of both businesses and collaborate closely with iCIMS Product Management executives, identifying areas where we can win, and creating strong positioning materials that our Content Development Team can work off of to build compelling sales support materials, videos, webinars, in-platform profiles, and more.     Responsibilities

    • Create core messaging by persona that gives existing iCIMS customers the rationale points required to make the business case to add TextRecruit into their existing portfolio of iCIMS solutions and integrations
    • Collaborate with the iCIMS and TextRecruit Product Management Teams to understand the product strategy and effectively communicate the solutions’ value to the market to the right customers and user personas
    • Maintain an understanding of the market and market needs/dynamics, with an emphasis on understanding the buyers of these joint solutions
    • Understand various buyers’ needs, alternatives, buying process, etc. in relation to both company’s products
    • Follow and analyze market trends to position products and the platform
    • Analyze new use cases, scenarios, market segments, verticals, or geographies to be applied to the product roadmap, as they ladder up to the annual corporate strategic plans
    • Translate and prioritize technical details and features into benefits for the various buying personas
    • Develop positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy
    • Coordinate with Portfolio Directors/Product Management and a Competitive Analyst to identify and communicate differentiation vs. key competitors -- including “do nothing”
    •  Sales and Marketing Enablement: Educate and help train Sales and Marketing teams to ensure they are aware of, aligned to, and have the resources they need to work efficiently to generate and close opportunities for TextRecruit at existing iCIMS Customers
    • Work cross-functionally with representatives from Decision Support and Finance to monitor the success of GTM Plans
    • Coordinate with Portfolio Directors/Product Management to devise product marketing strategies (pricing, advertising, product launch) to support the sales of TextRecruit and Connectors to existing iCIMS Customers
    • Coordinate with Advocacy Marketing Team to ensure that appropriate customer use cases are documented and then introduced to Sales for use in active sale cycles
    • Consistently ensure that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with iCIMS’ core competencies, policies and procedures.

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Product Marketing capacity for a technology company strongly preferred.
    • Exceptional attention to detail, high-quality writing skills and a demonstrated ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial.
    • Highly skilled at product positioning, must be able to demonstrate proficiency.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing, reporting, and improving key marketing metrics and making data-driven decisions. Understanding of pricing models.
    • Ability to explain both complex technical concepts in a simple, linear, and holistic way and complex solution and business value concepts in a manner that developers can connect with.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required. Sharepoint experience a plus.
    • Understanding of the HR industry /technology marketplace a plus.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Articulates thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively. Highly effective influencing skills.
    • Ability to interpret information from various sources and recommend course of action for the business in designated area of responsibility.
    • Strong ability to scope projects, tasks and programs and prioritize projects and tasks.
    • Skilled at managing relationships at all levels both with internal and external partners.
    • Strong organization skills, with the ability to prioritize; multi-task and work with competing deadlines. Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
    • High degree of comfort managing multiple, competing priorities in ambiguous environments.
    • Exceptional time and project management skills. Must be able to iterate and readily adapt to change.
    • A strong desire to be part of and to contribute within a highly collaborative team environment.
    • Highly creative, motivated and independent.

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing preferred.

    Compensation

    • The typical compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $112,000. Offer is commensurate with job related experience and skills commensurate with the open position.
