We’re looking for a superb listener with executive presence to join our team as a Content Development Associate III, where you’ll create a variety of content and thought leadership on behalf of our C-suite. In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally to draft compelling content for various external iCIMS executive communications, including internally produced videos, executive media byline opportunities and advertorials, analyst presentations and communications, press releases, and speaking engagements. You’ll need to set a unique—and consistent—tone with your communications, as well as research industry trends to create strong narratives that support editorial content.     Responsibilities

    • Create on-message content to support executive media bylines, in-house videos, speaking engagement opportunities, press releases, analyst materials, external-facing blog posts, etc.
    • Work closely with Associate Director, Content Development to ensure that executive external communications are aligned to the most current corporate positioning for the products, the company culture, and future-state plans for the business
    • Monitor media and public speaking trends as it relates to executive thought leadership in the competitive landscape. Make recommendations for how to best position the iCIMS Executive team in presentations, bylines, blogs, and pitches. Use this information to make recommendations, serve, and collaborate with the PR team regarding message strategy
    • Coordinate with Product Marketing to ensure that executive messaging accurately reflects benefits and features and considers various user perspectives and personas
    • Collaborate with contacts in other divisions of the company (Finance, Human Resources, R&D, Customer Service, etc.) to develop ongoing major milestone communications for the business
    • Write self-penned articles and blog posts for iCIMS’ thought leadership website, Hiring Insights
    • Independently draft presentations and remarks as requested for speaking engagement opportunities and major corporate events
    • Monitor specific analyst coverage statistics; share these performance metrics monthly with the Associate Director, Content Development
    • Build assets to support the communication needs described above including, by not limited to, one-pagers, press releases, PowerPoint presentations, case study bylines, webinar scripts, research, infographics, data sheets, whitepapers, external-facing blog posts, and FAQs
    • Coach, help onboard, and at times peer edit the work of newer Content Development Associates within the team
    • Consistently ensures that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with iCIMS policies, procedures, and core competencies.

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of six years of experience
    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
    • Ideal candidates are bright, outgoing, self-motivated, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, have excellent and efficient writing skills, and can easily switch gears to manage multiple project types
    • Experience researching and using industry data to create meaningful business narratives to support editorial content strongly preferred
    • Previous experience working for a high-growth business preferred by not required
    • Grace and level-headed problem solving skills under pressure
    • Candidates should display a willingness to learn, while also offering their own insight, suggestions and feedback to iCIMS management
    • Positive attitude and a desire to grow within the department and company
    • Strong work ethic and a passion for content planning and development
    • Demonstrated abilities in project management
    • Experience as an editor and/or a journalist a plus
    • Experience working for a B2B SaaS provider or technology company a plus
    • Some understanding of the HR Software industry a plus
    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Future designs on supervising a small team of Content Development Associates
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to work out of our Holmdel, NJ headquarters
