You’ll work with business partners to translate functional requirements into technical requirements, and participate in cross-functional, cross-discipline architecture teams to enhance and set the architectural direction for key business initiatives.     Responsibilities

    • Implement conceptual and logical architecture designs for new initiatives.
    • Assist in development of new standards, patterns, best practices for reuse and acceleration.
    • Work with business partners to translate functional requirements into technical requirements.
    • Identify technical solutions and assist in prioritization of features and capabilities to meet business needs and drive to resolution.
    • Working with Engineers and Application Administrators team the expectation is that the Cloud Solution Architect will work collaboratively to implement business solutions and customer facing solutions.
    • The Cloud Solution Architect is a hands-on-technologist with experience in application architecture and engineering modern solutions.
      • Configuration Management
      • Secure from the start automation-first of all infrastructure components
      • Operational and Production Support built into the robust solution
      • Deep understanding of cloud platforms, operating systems, web, middleware, networking and database
      • Understanding of how to build a highly resilient application
    • Developing business and customer facing solutions that meet iCIMS standards around Information Security, Data Privacy, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
    • Performing Business Impact Analysis of applications in portfolio.

    Qualifications

    • BS in Computer Science or closely related degree or equivalent practical experience.
    • A minimum of 3 years of ETL and BI development experience.
    • Hands-on experience with strong understanding of technologies
    • Proven delivery of engineering and business application solutions.
    • Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery and experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
    • Web services / API’s / micro-services
    • Understanding of architecture patterns and anti-patterns 
    • Understanding of service oriented architecture 
    • Understanding of relational databases, data modeling techniques 
    • Understanding of industry trends and vendor positioning 
    • Understand relevant application technologies and development life cycles 
    • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes
