We’re seeking a business-savvy, compelling communicator to join our team as a Corporate Strategy Associate II, where you’ll help us build the foundation for corporate strategic decision-making, and support the implementation of our corporate growth strategy through M&A, joint ventures, and other financial transactions. You’ll be called on in a consultative capacity to help solve specific operational problems, and will be responsible for performing both competitive and financial analysis.     Responsibilities

    • Research and monitor the HR tech industry to understand the market landscape, competitors, strategies, industry trends and recent announcements.
    • Provide support for our strategic planning process by providing supplemental industry research, data and analytics.
    • Develop, analyze and prepare information for Board and Leadership.
    • Facilitate and analyze business cases for new markets (e.g., segments, verticals, product lines, geographies, etc.) and help facilitate Leadership Team decision-making process.
    • Pro-actively examine business to identify and address risk to corporate strategy.
    • Work with leadership to develop Corporate Strategy communications including thought leadership.
    • Provide quarterly updates to the Executive Team, product management and other stakeholders about changes in the industry that may affect iCIMS.
    • Proactively develop relationships with companies in our acquisition landscape and private equity firms investing in HR tech companies to build and maintain a pipeline of potential acquisition targets.
    • Gather initial information, coordinate due diligence with other stakeholders, prepare materials for review by the Executive Team and Board of Directors and oversee the integration of completed transactions.
    • Facilitate monthly and quarterly communications with financial research analysts, potential public company investors and investment banks.
    • This includes our monthly investor relations distribution, quarterly financial press releases, developing content for the corporate development blog, updating the quarterly investor relations presentation and IR website, and managing our schedule of investor conferences.
    • Consistently ensure that business is conducted with integrity at-all-times and that behavior aligns with iCIMS’ core competencies, policies and procedures.

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field is required. MBA preferred.
    • At least 6 years of experience in a related role is preferred.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.  Articulates thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively, adjusting to differing audiences.
    • Strong presentation skills to be able to effectively represent iCIMS in the HR tech and financial communities.
    • Thorough understanding of accounting to analyze income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements, conduct due diligence, financial modeling and analysis to support building business cases for new product and go to market investments, evaluate potential acquisitions, and other potential financial transactions.
    • Skilled at quickly building effective working relationships, working through multiple stakeholders in-order-to manage tight timelines. High degree of comfort managing multiple, competing priorities in ambiguous environments.
    • Exceptional project management skills. Ability to organize and manage a variety of projects like due diligence, financial transactions and business integrations.
    • Computer literate; proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). Must be able to quickly grasp new technology.
    • Experience with Salesforce or another Customer Relationship Management software preferred.
    • Ability to work effectively within a fast paced, changing environment.
